Revolution and Empire
As the title suggests, there was much fighting going on this period. Purpose: to extend the relevant government. For example, Napoleon conquered Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Holland and parts of Germany. Then lost a battle of Leipzig against the English, was banished to Elba and committed an unsuccessful suicide. Then lost the battle of Waterloo and was exiled to Helena.
The men wore a top hat, one (dandy) draped scarf, a long, lightly fitted jacket, tight pants, stockings surrounded by “spatterdashes” to protect against the dirt when you go on horseback. The women wore a mantel-hat and high waisted dress to the ground. Gerritsen can of course transform you to this era, but only on the condition that you don’t start a war.
