Al drie generaties lang bedient Gerritsen de wereld van theater, televisie en film en is daarmee een begrip voor velen in de industrie.
Opgezet door wijlen Joop Gerritsen, opende wij onze deuren in 1878 en al snel werd de naam “Jo Gerritsen” de standaard in kostuums.
Nadat zijn zoon het bedrijf over had genomen werden grote optochten, opera’s en theaterstukken aan het repetoïre toegevoegd en twee generaties verder behelst de cliëntele inmiddels een groot deel van de entertainmentindustrie, bedrijven, fotografen, stylisten en particulieren.

Velvet Reverie. A romantic 1850s-inspired evening gown, made in rich black velvet with soft pleats and layered ruffles at the neckline. The satin trimming and bow detail add contrast and depth. Designed and made in our atelier, with attention to historical shape and fabric movement.
A beautifully tailored ivory corset crafted in jacquard fabric with a subtle baroque motif. The garment features precise panel construction for a sculpted fit, reinforced with boning to enhance structure and support. Black piping defines the seams, while delicate lace trim adds contrast and refinement.
