The Thirties

In the thirties the crisis hit hard. Leaders with questionable goals found good breeding ground promising better times. The intolerance grew fast. Charlie Chaplin predicted with his film “The Great Dictator” what was about to happen. Picasso painted his “Geurnica” in protest against the bloodshed of the fascists in Spain.
